    You've got to be kidding me:

    {BC-RAC—Kentucky Derby-OJ Simpson, 1st Ld-Writethru,0384}

    AP moves a 10-inch story on OJ (who's at Churchill Downs) picking Tiago.

    I hope Dan Gelston lost a bet.

    I saw that and thought the same thing. I would have asked about the murders. And then ran as he pulled out a big knife.

    How awful would it have to be to yuck it up with someone like that?

    Maybe he'll break a leg and be put down.

    The writer or OJ? I'd rather see Orenthal get trampled b ya horse. Or have him fall off a rail, get run over and have a band walk over him.

    Then, get his head cut off ;D ;D ;D

    Saw it too and thought, "Why are you giving this clown a platform?"

    Maybe he'll find the real killer in the mint julep line at the concession stand.

    Because he was a celebrity. The evidence was certainly against him, but the starstruck jurors weren't.

  11. Slight threadjack:
    Rather than interview OJ, Has the AP done a story the fact that the longtime voice of Ky Derby (not to be confused with less-popular, but longer lasting KY Derby) will not be calling the race?
    I can't remember his name, but he is famous phrase is "Down the stretch they come!"
    I read somewhere he has been replaced by someone of ESPN's choosing.

    I'm thinking his name is Dave Johnson, but I could be wrong. I also thought he didn't do last year's race, either.
