Hamm's Light was $6 per case when I was in grad school. It was glorious.

There is no cheap beer up here but there is some shit. Grizzly, Schooner, OV, Molson's Ex and Golden, Louwenbrau, Labatt Extra Dry and anything Light all get thumbs down from me.

Can't stand Heineken and probably the worst beer I've ever had anywhere was Stroh's with genessee a close second. A poorly drawn Guiness is awful too. Properly done it's heavenly.

I'll choose a Corona over most anything else these days. That, or a Blue Moon.

Then again, I've never been accused of being a beer conniseur (sp?). Whatever.

    20 years now ... where'd they go?

Fire-Brewed Stroh's (tastes like they left it warm) ... Heidelberg ($1.99 a six-pack, cheaper than Coke)Schlitz ... Olympia ("It's the Water," which should have been edited to read, "It's Like Water") ... Meister Brau ... Milwaukee's Best.

I'm not sure what's more embarrassing, the music I listened to in 1986 or the beer I drank.

I loved Olympia. But I much prefer light-tasting beers over heavy ones, so...

At 16 we generally drank whatever we could get our hands on. But never these, no matter how available they were.

Isn't that a Western New York beer?

  8. Hamm's LIGHT?
How'd they keep the cans from floating away?

I'll raise your Beast and see you a Beast Ice. Hideous stuff.

I'm with boots on Heineken. Stuff tastes awful skunky to me.
