?

Which has been the more spectacular collapse over the last week?

  1. St. Louis Cardinals squander most of 8 1/2 G lead

    58.8%
  2. Michigan State vs. Notre Dame

    41.2%

Like our president, the Royals are uniters, not dividers. ;)

Count me in, too, dammit! As a Cubs fan, I don't hate the White Sox, I'm indifferent toward them (unless they're playing the Cubs); but I hate me some motherfuckin' Cardinals!

LaRussa used to be a 162-game manager and then fail in the postseason. Now he's not even a 162-game manager.

With the Brewers ending up with five runs, does Pujols' shot that gave the Cardinals six runs count as a game-winning home run? Anybody?
And who is your NL MVP?

EDIT: Howard has two HRs in the past 19 games (perhaps hit a wall in his first full season).

Pujols has hit HUGE HRs the past few days, when his team is gasping for air, and his numbers were with Howard's to begin with.

    Clearly, it should be Pujols.

Sorry, but Sparty has collapsed so far that they lost.

    To Illinois.

    In East Lansing.

So H.R. Pufnstuf and Teddy Ruxpin weren't such great coordinators after all.

The Braves got the last laugh before hitting the links. [/fuckabunchaastros]

Meanwhile, Cards down, 5-1 to Milwaukee.

While we're talking about collapses, how about the Tigers? They lost their last five games (to the non-contending Blue Jays and (especially) Royals to blow a division that they had led since the first two weeks of the season.
