Limiting it to teams that have gone 25+ years without a championship.

I'll say Cubs. 100+ years is long enough. Plus I have a feeling their fans will be far less pretentious than Red Sox fans were in '04.

Of course my first thought on seeing the list of teams was "holy crap, it's been more than 25 years for the Tigers, Orioles, Royals and Mets?"

    I'm old.

Where are the Dodgers? That would be my pick.

Like: The Rangers. Came too damn close a year ago.

Likely: Any current leader but the Rangers. Texas pitching likely to implode at bad times and in really ugly ways, as it has shown.

    Good thread, Manky.

Torn between the Pirates and Nationals. In the long run, though, I think I'd be more enthused to see Washington in a short series.

I'll take the racists from Cleveland for $400, Alex.

    I'm a Cub fan, so I'm a bit biased :).

    Mets fan since I'm bias.

If I had to chose another team, I'd go with the Rangers since they've never won a title and to come as close as they did the last two years (2011 especially) and come up empty-handed is rough.
