    Fun fact: The main theme of "Ride of the Valkyries"was composed by Richard Wagner in 1851 and not performed publicly in its entirety until the entire opera "The Valkyries" (in English) in 1870. Wagner himself objected to the playing of it until it was performed in Bayreuth in 1876 and conducted it himself in London in 1877.
