I thought about dropping my cable, too, and I'd rely on my sitcoms on DVDs. In fact, with the money I'd save on cable, I could buy more DVDs. Hmm.

I would bet your collection makes mine look weak.

    I don't know about that.

    Seinfeld: Boxed set.
    Full House: Boxed set.
    Scrubs: Seasons 1-7.
Saved By The Bell: Seasons 1-5, College Years (and the made-for-TV movies, too).
Boy Meets World: Seasons 1, 2 and 3 (they haven't released any others).
    Married With Children: Seasons 1-5.
    In Living Color: Seasons 1-4.
    Family Guy: Seasons 1-5.
    Simpsons: Seasons 1-8.
    Fresh Prince: Season 1.
Clerks Cartoon: Season 1 (complete series).
Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Season 1.

OK. I've probably got you. When did I get all those DVDs?

Baseball might be a tough nut to crack, but there are plenty of live TV streaming sites out there. I'm sure there's some Asian network being bootlegged right now which is showing some sort of ball game. Google around. You'll be surprised at what you can find.

As for regular TV shows, torrents are your friend. Invest in a $50-$100 media player or DVD player which plays AVI files (Divx, Xvid) and you'll be set. If you're afraid of getting caught, then plunk down a few bucks and get yourself access to a usenet source.

That's pretty decent. My next purchase will be the King of Queens boxed set. It's getting cheaper by the day, which is exactly what I like.

I am waiting for My Wife and Kids to come out, have no idea when that will be.

To keep us somewhat on topic, I do miss watching hoops but my buddy told me I can come over and watch the playoffs if I want.

I love that show. I'd watch Damon Wayans milk a cow with his feet.

According to tvshowsondvd.com, season one came out on Feb. 24th.

I may have to pick it up.

I decided Friday I need to cancel cable. The same day, I got a notice in the mail: I've been selected as a Nielsen ratings household.

Does that mean they pay for some of the cable bill? I have always been curious as to what the perks were.
