Winter X Games

Just wondering how the Winter X Games are being played in your section, if at all.

 

It's not.

 

Not at all.

Of course, I'm where there's not much interest in snow sports.

 

Hate to be, um, cold, but unless somebody dies, it will not be covered here.

 

In briefs.

 

Maybe in briefs, depending on who's in charge of that. I might put it in there if there was nothing else.

 

We've got a local guy competing, so it's in every night.

Last paper I was at sent a reporter to cover it. Course they had a couple locals competing, and I do live where there is a ton of snow and snowsports are big deal.

 

I didn't even know X was going on, but I don't watch ESPN much.

It won't get much play, if any, in our paper unless someone dies.

 

The LA Times has a pretty extensive coverage of the X-Games in the summer and in the winter and i don't remember the last time it snowed in LA.

I was sent to cover it twice in LA once I did it as a volunteer worker to get a different view on it and then the following year I covered it as a reporter and they got way to much shit going on at once for one guy to do it. But I meet Tony Hawk and the Shawn White..

 

Did you get their autographs? Because that would be X-tremely sweet!
