Not his fault his players can't perform. They are paid to do a job and failed miserably this year.

 

If the "manager" could at least pretend to try to induce some of the players to pay greater attention to the fundamentals, than to hot-dogging . . . it might have been different . . . but noooooooooooooooo . . .

 

Willie has done, through the years, too much for the city to be kicked to the curb too quickly.
Heck, he may even someday soon bring a World Series title to the Big Apple.
I doubt that, though.
