S-P woke up with a smile on his face and he doesn't know why. Yet.

Because Jeff Wilpon is a piece of shit who gets off on torturing people?

Never liked Randolph, ever, but it is just about impossible to not feel badly for him re: how badly this was botched.

Considering their assets and market, the Mets are, by far, the worst-run organization in baseball. I hope people finally start seeing them for what they are now.

You don't see 3 a.m. firings everyday, that's for sure.

Just another way for lil' Jeffy to prove he's the boss.

My God, what a horribly inept organization.

Did Willie play Matchbox 20 on his iPod when he heard the news?

Nope. Billy Wagner dropped it in the bullpen the other night.

Its not Willie's fault Delgado is playing like a piece of s---, Wagner is blowing saves and nobody else can hit.

This whole process was botched. The Mets left Willie twisting in the wind and might as well have offered the dreaded vote of confidence.

Given all this, a firing at roughly 0300 EDT sounds about right.

And really? Jerry Manuel? That's your improvement? Good luck with that.
