Are local TV and radio crews entering the bubble? I think some are keeping their crews at home and calling games off a monitor.

I presume there are Group 2 reporters. Any idea what their costs are?

Can the Magic beat reporter live at home, and enter and leave the bubble?

If you do that, it’s not a bubble.

NHL is close to a 6 year CBA which includes, among many things, players participating in the next two Olympics.

He catches a lot of shit but if Bettman can secure labour peace with Donald Fehr during a pandemic, he will have done a good job.

Hearing rumblings among my officiating brethren: NCAA very close to recommend moving college football to the spring.

That'd be essentially a declaration of war on the three non-NFL pro sports. And they'd retaliate for sure.

And they can fuck off. It’s not like we’re living in normal times and they’re pulling this. They’d also be stepping on the NCAA men’s basketball tournament’s dick too, which draws a lot more attention than mid-March Jazz Nuggets.

What is your definition of spring? By mid-April, there's baseball, NHL and NBA playoffs. They will defend that turf and the easiest way to do it is by raiding talent. Repeal the one-and-done rule, college basketball takes a big hit. And by the by, more schools in the NCAA would act to defend the basketball tournament than vote to move football.
