One wonders, especially given his comments, whether Billy might not be far behind.

It doesn't sound very good. And given Billy's health, I wonder how much her being alive has spurred him on.

Jesus, Billy's got fluid on the brain, prostate cancer, AND Parkinson's?

Talk about every day being a blessing.

I don't know about Billy's current condition, but I do know there was a lot made about his bad health prior to his NYC visit two years ago, and then when I went to see him, he looked and preached fantastic. I was expecting to feel bad for him, but it was like he was as good as ever.

Jack, where did the sermon take place, the Garden? I've always wondered what it would be like to attend a Mass in a big venue.

I'm Catholic, so I'm used to uncomfortable wooden pews.

Outdoors. Corona Park in Queens. Right near the USTA, Shea, the world's fair "globe," etc.

    That's too bad.
I was lucky enough to work a few Billy Graham shows in 1993.
You will never listen to a public speaker who would command your attention like he did.

Sad stuff, but I have to admit that I thought this thread was about Superstar Billy Graham at first.

Whatever one's faith may be, Ruth Graham was a real partner in unity with Billy. She's at peace now. Yes, I, too, wonder how much longer Rev. Graham has in this world. I recall how fast Johnny Cash went toward death after June Carter Cash died. Rest in peace, Ruth. A servant's heart has stopped.

  12. I saw Billy Graham at Texas Stadium about five years ago ... one of the most memorable nights of my life. He's not too far away, I would think, and that will be a sad, sad day.
