    Seemingly positive stereotypes really aren't any better than negative ones.

    The idea the "asians are good at math" or that "blondes have it easy in life" or that "skinny women are lucky" all serve to discredit the success achieved,and too dismiss the work applied.

    And, coming from a guy who is both sensitive to most stereotypes, and who also comes from a culture where blonde hair does not exist naturally, it comes across as pretty tone deaf.
