    See for yourself.

    Scoop column: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=jackson/070219

    Whitlocks column: http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/sports/columnists/jason_whitlock/16730767.htm

It's clear Scoop was rubbing shoulders with the Movers and Shakers, whereas Whitlock was babysitting old college buddies.

Not only that, but Scoop was a well sought after fella - who was OVER BOOKED, whereas Whitlock was waiting in lines with the commoners.

Who am I to judge - read for yourself.

Scoop's, jackass, Scoop's. Not Scoops. The rest of your nonsense isn't even worth derision.

Why didn't Scoop know there was an ESPN party at the Wynn?

What's a Scoop column doing on the Journalism Board?

    Overbooked!

They knew it. They REALLY didn't want to disturb him.

  7. people around here like to use the term "thanks for checking in (fill in writer here)..." But since Scoop actually posted that thing himself, I can't even make the joke.

Speaking of jokes, fo shizzle is that some drizzle. I hope he wore knee pads.

Or he wasn't important enough to garner an invite.

Do we really need a thread for every time Whitlock and Scoop might cross paths? Can't we just have a running thread ... one that Whitlock and Sportsbruh could have all to themselves? Would anyone be opposed to this?

Come to think of it, you might be right.

BTW: Who else from ESPN was sought after to host events of prominence other than Stu Scott?

BOUNCE: hater - you looking bad. That yellow in your avatar becomes you.

If he was so sought after, why didn't ESPN invite him to the party? Wouldn't they have wanted Scoop there?

Or, maybe, they didn't care about having him there because he's just a .com writer and host of a crappy reality series devoted to playing video games.
