    He absolutely should not have been publicizing the concerns he had about the doctoral student and her teaching. If they fire his ass -- and they probably should -- he has only himself to blame.

    You'd think a tenured professor of communications would have enough of a working knowledge of the Constitution to know freedom of speech refers to only what the government can't do. Amazing so many smart people get this so wrong. Firing him sure as hell didn't make him shut up. Blogs, podcasts and any public street corner of town square are available to him.
