IMHO, that might be the shortest and best post I have ever read of yours. I'm not being snarky with that either. Probably the best post on this thread.

 

I hoped I would find some insights that would benefit my journalism career when I had one. When I lost that career, I received so much support that I still read and post here from time to time.

Now I have friends on this board that I wouldn't trade for anyone. Relationships are what keep me here, even when I write one post a week.

In all seriousness, I came here when someone told me some newspaper was getting ripped on. I came on, laughed my ass off, and never left.

 

I came here for the jobs board. I joined for the journalism discussions. I stayed because ... well ... have to pass the time somehow.

 

I came here for the waters.
