No, it's the kind of boat that Cajun Buddhists use on the bayou.

It's a shame there isn't a political thread because I sure would have enjoyed seeing the left defend what happened tonight.

Only if the Liberals put someone out there worth voting for. :D

You know, Harper could have avoided the whole "proroguing" mess if he had just said it was an extended Christmas vacation. Like at the Ontario Legislature, which doesn't go back into session until Feb. 16, although nobody is screeching about the end of democracy in that instance.

    The medium is the message.

Incompetent campaigns are losing campaigns. A referendum on two specific individuals, not issues.

No defense. Coakley ran a shitty campaign. Brown ran a good or very good one.

Exactly. Take voters for granted, even in Massachusetts, and you'll get what you deserve. Especially in this political climate.

No Democrat loses a Kennedy congressional seat.
    Period.

Well, printdust, it just happened. Coakley may be the worst Democratic candidate of all time.

In potential the worst Democratic run of all time...with the arrogance of those who have cashed in on the bank fiasco. I heard the Fox guys like Hannity and co., throwing a party but I'll say this (they won't hear it), even if it becomes a landslide shift in November, if those assclowns get up there and do what they did to get their asses thrown out, nothing but pain will follow. America will turn into a country of one-termers who milk the system with hyper urgency.

Somewhere in hell, old Joe Kennedy must be wondering where he went wrong.
