    I really like Jordan Conn's writing, and I've been a huge fan of some of his other stuff, but I can't quite get past the words after words over white background on this story. Some of Grantland's layouts have been more interesting, but this one just looked daunting from the start.

    I loved the Keown piece for a lot of the reasons described above, because while it was blustery, it was also captivating for me. Regrettably, I'm not the reader I used to be, and I'm too quick to dismiss some pieces (see above.), this one got to me. Some really great lines in there.
