Right now, I'd say Cobb, but once more time passes, more stuff will come out about Bonds and he'll be proven as the arrogant, selfish sleaze that he is. Fuck that guy.

As much as I dislike Bonds, he's nowhere near the class of assholery as Ty Cobb was.

Ty Cobb almost beat a heckler to death. Bonds and Rose don't even come close.

No place to write in Randy Kutcher?

No offense, Randy, but you're the most obscure guy I could think of.

As much as I hate Barry, he doesn't compare to Ty Cobb in the Superjerk department.

Sure there have been some really despicable characters, but among the big name players everyone would know, I doubt anyone is going to surpass Ty Cobb. Miserable, racist prick who should have been in jail for stabbing a guy because of the color of his skin.

    Cobb, among the immortals . . . Hal Chase, otherwise . . .

  11. As bad as Rose and Bonds are/were, no one could compare to Ty Cobb.

To only have four players from all of baseball come to your funeral ... well, that means a lot of people were glad to see you die.

Cobb, and it's not even close. Hell, I'm not so sure that a lot of his fellow ballplayers don't actually have fondness toward Bonds -- Jeff Kent excluded, of course. ;D

Nobody liked Cobb. They tolerated him.
