    I've heard that Warren Sapp rates pretty high on the list, as well as Mark Grace and Doug Mirabelli.

    Dealt with Jarvis twice. Once, he called me from the road for a story on one of his former coaches back home who'd just died. I've dealt with far worse.

    Disagree totally on David Stern.

    You may not like the way the guy runs his league ... and it is HIS league ... but he's a solid interview, especially in a one-on-one situation.

    Best thing about Stern is he never dodges a question. He'll spin it 180 degrees, but you'll never hear the guy say "No comment." I spent about three hours with him one day when he came through our fair city and he was tremendous.

    Saw him 3 months later at the NBA All-Star Game and he remembered my name and asked how some folks he'd met here while visiting were doing. So I'll vote "no" on adding Stern to this list.
