Eventually he will be, but he still needs the rest of this year to grow into that role.

He can be a little wild at times, issuing walks at inopportune times. But yea, it's fun to watch a 100-mph pitch and then watch the batter just freeze as a 85 mph curve comes in there.

Although really, Zumaya is almost like the closer now. He's the one that comes in with runners on base in the seventh or eighth.

Cat Osterman belongs on the list.

I think she's exciting enough for me.

    That's right . . I said it.

I voted for A-Rod, though I was tempted to go with Reyes.

Like what has been said here before, I am too a Mets fan. Reyes gets my vote. Few can circle the bases like he can. Most importantly, he really seems to have fun playing the game. He's a player fans of the game can look up to. When he gets on base, the Mets' offense goes to another level.

I do like Sizemore, though. They guy's a heck of a leadoff hitter, a good-to-great fielder. Just a joy to watch.

I voted Reyes. Carl Crawford would be second, Hanley Ramirez third.

Give me complete players who can flat fly. Those are the exciting ones.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Watching Pujols and Ortiz at the plate is a must, but just that: at the plate, and usually when the game is tight. Guys like Reyes, Crawford & Sizemore are guys that can do almost anything at anytime, anywhere on the field or at the plate.

I'm a big Wells fan but for me the Jays most exciting player is Alex Rios (or Reed Johnson when he's healthy).
