    That really sounds like an awful story.

    But your previous post makes it hard for me to believe anything you say.

    Why would a writer need to file within an hour and do a write-thru on a 4 p.m. game?

    Unless the first story is for the web only.

    And -- seriously -- if no one is telling them that they are filing hours later than you expect, causing you to miss getting stories on line or using wires or whatever, don't you think you could take it upon yourself to tell the writer?
