    Yes, the preemptive rebuttal column was self-aggrandizing, and if it went in the Star's sports section it was mislocated. Nonetheless, it raises a good point.A story advancing the notion that a country's character can be judged by its prisons is compelling enough without sexing it up with references to the KKK that weren't part of the piece. Even though it's Playboy and thus hangs its success on the mantle of pornography, it is a publication, nonetheless, and should strive to be accurate in everything it does. Except air-brushing centerfolds.

    Jason has a point and he does a good job explaining everything that went into the misleading headline. He also pointed out that Playboy told him one of his options was to criticize the magazine. I'm just not sure when they told the Star that they were the ones who had to print it.

    Column was fine, should have run in Playboy.
