I'd say letting go Ray Lewis and Cris Carter still puts ESPN one up in the win column.

Good god, that intro column is 2870 words, which is roughly equal to what The Undefeated has produced so far. That project is dead on arrival.

How do LeBatard and Bomani Jones still work there unless they are cheap? It's not like they are versatile

Is Whitlock one of the all-time greats or not? So what is the verdict?

Definitely one of the best writers Ball State has ever produced. In fairness, I think he's provocative and willing to address issues that many are not, but his Wire obsession, writing/saying things you can sense he doesn't truly believe, his insane self-regard, and that godawful playbook he put together for the Undefeated assure he's mainly just best at stirring shit.

Someone seriously compared Jason fucking Whitlock to Mike Royko? Mike Royko, the Pulitzer-winning columnist who wrote one of the most revealing political books of the 20th century.

    Jesus fucking Christ.

Which book is that? Looking for a good political book to read as the country slows burns this summer.

Meanwhile, Whitlock doesn't have any content on the FOX Sports website since April 25. Is J School toast?
