Which sport has the worst fans?

Hockey.

 

In a discussion I had with New York City cops who work Madison Square Garden on a regular basis, I was told that Arena Football was the duty they dreaded. "Their even worse than the wrestling crowds, forget the Rangers crowd," was the quote.

 

I’m going with soccer because no other fan base gets offended if you don’t like the sport.

 

On a worldwide scale, I think you’ve nailed it. More deaths, shootings, riots, stadium stampedes, etc. in that sport.

Hell, remember the ref whose head was put on a pike?

And there are plenty of other examples.

Then even if you do like soccer, elitism kicks in if you don’t support a Euro club.

 

Far from the “worst,” but grown-ass adults with no kids who are high-school sports fans are definitely among the creepiest.

I don’t know. I’ve encountered hockey fans who are like that, too.

 

Know what? Soccer fans really don't give a shit if you like the sport or not. Mostly they just get tired of the tired old sportswriter punchlines about soccer.

Now, the soccer "Ultras"? Those guys are assholes.

 

Online, soccer fans are the worst. The euro superiority is so annoying.

Live? Im still going with Little League parents , followed closely by youth soccer parents
