    But the Bruins' chokes usually have been confined to series against the Canadiens. The 1993 gag was truly stunning, since that might have been the best edition of a team that had made the Wales Conference finals the previous three years.

    And yes, it was Sutter's team. He caught a lot of heat for riding the team too hard, for leaving them with nothing in the tank once the playoffs started. I guarantee you that if the Yankees lose in the first round, more than a few fans will lament that Torre did the same thing -- whether it's legit or not.
