At least one spot behind the Pirates, that's for sure.

Because it is quite clear from the context that you meant to say "Alabama football," I will ignore this statement and chalk it up to simple confusion with neighboring Southern states. Please don't let it happen again.

Eh, who gives a fuck? Alabama? Georgia? They're all a bunch of dimwitted, racist crackers anyway. [/Mizzougrad96]

"Because they're going to a mother fucking funeral!"

That video was way better than this thread.

Hey, King, aren't you a fan of the Braves?

I wonder if the Braves wish they had gone to two World Series and made seven playoff appearances this decade?

Or are you enjoying watching your team flounder 19 games behind the Mets? The Mets! That is insane.

I agree on the Tigers... but the Yankees from 2000-09 rank with the Braves from 1992-2006... great potential, couldn't deliver when it mattered...
    But FOX says they're GREAT!

For comparison's sake in 1980s (at least 1981-88), lest we forget:

1981: Blow 2-0 lead to Dodgers in World Series
1982: Losing record, fifth place, 16 games out
1983: Third place, seven games out
1984: Third place, 17 games out
1985: Second place, two games out
1986: Second place, 5.5 games out
1987: Fourth place, 9 games out
1988: Fifth place, 3.5 games out
