    He was a regular contributor for about a year and dissapeared for the last few months.

    I know he was one of the unfortunate ones who got axed from the journalism ranks, but he posted after that.

    Well, consistently ubiquitous for sure. I don't recall anything. I do recall an earlier slowdown period of about a week.
