Exactly. And Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus has five college degrees (including a JD and a doctorate), more than any of the 534 members.

So, 2 percent of Black Americans identify themselves as strong Republicans. No wonder libruls' panties are in such wads!

Blacks in America are the most dependable voting bloc the modern Democratic Party has, and it repays them for their loyalty by saying all the right things and doing nothing of substance. No reason to put much effort into pleasing someone that will stick with you regardless.

As opposed to the GOP which does everything it possibly can to force blacks (as well as many non-rich whites and members of every ethnic derivation as well as women too) into virtual servitude.

They're waiting for Cain to say "the word." Once he does, it'll be all "n-word" all the time in the anti-Obama jihad in the corporatist media.

Not mocking the post, but this, to me, is the difference in the two parties. One protects wealth and the other helps those without it.

Actually, it repays them by trying to get them anything and everything they want.

Well, at least you don't need proof that Lincoln freed the slaves? But it's also just as much historical fact that southern Democrats obstructed Civil Rights legislation. If you're demanding documentation on that, there are probably 100 volumes in your library that will have the information.

George Wallace was never a Republican. Robert Byrd, ditto. John Stennis. Leander Perez. Lester Maddox. Herman Talmadge, Ross Barnett. Orville Faubus. Jeez, do I have to go on? Democrats had some racists and charlatans in their background. Deal with it.

You know the parties have dramatically changed their stances over the past 40 years, right?

Hence the picture of the joker above.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the Democrats oppose the expensive government policies and spending of Alexander Hamilton? Were the Republicans actually created to fight for increased government spending?
