I have mixed feelings about this photo running in a newspaper, especially a paper of the Star's stature.

 

Why would you publish that?

 

Part of me says it's a legit representation of a key moment in the game -- maybe this was affecting the guy's play or something.

But the more I think about it, the more I'm wondering why the hell this ran. Ain't like this is the first time it's happened this year.

 

Don't know if it ran in the actual paper, that's from a photo gallery of the game.

 

Photo gallery on the Web site or in print ... still. Wow.

 

A web site photo gallery is publishing the photo. Pathetic.

 

It's Kansas. Not much goes on there I guess.

 

I imagine they posted it with no other reason but to try to shock and get web site hits.

 

Sure to piss some readers off....
