What's your bad luck football story?

We had a football team here a couple of years ago that had state championship written all over it.

Team cruises through the regular and postseason games, get in the state playoffs.

Star back, state player of the year, has fumbleitis.

Fourth-and-goal with :28 seconds left, team gets the tying touchdown on a pass.

Or not. One official ran onto the field signalling a score, other over rules him. The ball hit the ground.
