What's happened to McDonald's fries?

I have enjoyed McDonald's fries for decades, but now? Not so much.

Even hot and fresh, they don't seem to have the flavor they once did. In the five minutes it takes to take them home, they die. They haven't descended to the depths of those inedible sticks that Burger King sells, but now the the once-undisputed champion of fries is lagging well behind Wendy's.

I can't pinpoint when things went awry. Perhaps I'm missing the trans fat? I don't know. Something has changed, and not for the better.

Wendy's fries have been better for years. White Castle fries are probably better too. Burger King's suck ass, and Jack in the Box's aren't so hot either.

Glad The Queen decided to stop at Wendy's tonight.

You are not wrong but I have no idea what is going on either.
    Burger King fries are awful.

Chick Fil-a waffle fries are the best.

They cut the sugar content, considerably.

With the superior fries, menu variety and vanilla Frosty, Wendy's has become my No. 1 fast food stop.

    Good call on Chick-fil-A, though.

I haven't been able to eat McDonald's food in years. Leaves a pit in the stomach every time.

About the only thing they do well there is Shamrock Shake and even those aren't as good as they once were.
