    Tonight I'd be finishing up a couple of stories for Sunday and packing Bridgeport, Conn. But I can finish packing later and write on the plane.

    In general, having a life -- whatever that means. It's been so long that I'm not really sure anymore.

    Life can't be all heart surgery and industry. If we weren't here, we'd be wasting time doing something else. You need to turn off sometimes. And at least here there's a chance at stumbling on something worth thinking about.

    Except for people with more than, say, 2,500 posts. You guys need to get lives.
