What would it take for McCain to win?

Proving to the slack-jawed that he's the candidate you'd want to drink a beer with.

McCain's going to win anyway, even if he has to sip his beer through a straw.

And there was a story yesterday that among the songs on Obama's I-Pod is this oldie:

    Come gather 'round people
    Wherever you roam
    And admit that the waters
    Around you have grown
    And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
    If your time to you
    Is worth savin'
    Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.

    Come writers and critics
    Who prophesize with your pen
    And keep your eyes wide
    The chance won't come again
    And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
    And there's no tellin' who
    That it's namin'.
    For the loser now
    Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'.

    Come senators, congressmen
    Please heed the call
    Don't stand in the doorway
    Don't block up the hall
    For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
    There's a battle outside
    And it is ragin'.
    It'll soon shake your windows
    And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.

Obama is a big fan of the Rolling Stones. His favorite Stones song - Gimme Shelter . On that alone he might get my vote.

If Bin Laden is caught I think it helps Obama more than it helps McCain. It pops a bubble in one of the unknown Islamic threats.

As I look at it today I just do not see McCain winning and that is fine by me. Obama might be the right candidate at the right time for where the country is.

If he picked Hillary as his running mate.

Oh, it's very possible that McCain could become president.

Gimme Shelter may be my favorite Stones song. I don't think it's hurt that Scorsese has used it in just about every film he's ever done.

I wonder if they did that just to piss him off. I read somewhere that getting the playlist was a major point of contention between The Stones and Scorsese because they thought he was getting too controlling.

    I haven't seen it, so I don't know.

No the Stones are tight with Marty. I saw a presser with Scorcese and Mick. Jaggar was joking about the fact that "Shine the Light was only Scorcese film without Gimme Shelter.

I wonder if it would hurt Obama if there was footage of him on the Internet rapping saying,

"Hey, McCain, tell me how my ass tastes."

Obama's convention theme song will be "Love Train."
