The one that has stuck with me to this day is about remembering the order of operations for math is Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally. (Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction)

Did you ever notice that the alphabet song, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, and Bah-Bah Black Sheep all have the same tune?

Two pages and nobody's mentioned this yet? Hang your heads in shame.

    Your land is mostly mountainous
And your chief export is chrome

When I first moved to Seattle I had to learn the trick for navigating in the heart of downtown: Jesus Christ Made Seattle Under Protest. JCMSUP.

The east-west cross streets, as you move south to north, are pairs of streets starting with each of those letters: James and Jefferson, Cherry and Columbia, Madison and Marion, Spring and Seneca, Union and University, Pike and Pine.

So if you're looking for one of those streets, you can always figure out whether it is north or south of you.

Great comments, by the way. One says "How come if it's a 50s show does Potsie have 70s hair?"

    Never thought of that before.

Could you also come up with a mnemonic for your expiration date and the number on the back and share those? :)

And the zip code, of course.

    Jesus Christ built Seattle?
    That guy was so prolific.

Best one I've learned professionally was told to me by a senior atty (thanks Jack):

"Don't assume because that just makes an ass of you and me."

Now, go with "My very educated mother just served us nachos."

    Pluto has been summarily dismissed.
