What is the greatest baseball card of all time?

The classic 1970s rookie card: Hall-of-Famer, pretty good Major Leaguer and "Who the fuck is that?"

 

If the Billy Ripken fuck face is too blatant, there's always the subtle middle finger of Billy Martin.

 

What about Gary Pettis' younger brother pretending to be Gary Pettis, and then doing the throat slash and STILL making it into the 1985 Topps set?

The 1977 Topps Mark Fidrych, but I'm being biased toward the Tigers. He's got a big, goofy grin, the word "Detroit" across the front of his road uniform, the "A.L. All-Star" bar across the bottom of the photo and the Topps "rookie team cup."

It captured the magic of the Bird from summer 1976.
