Keep seeing the Taco Bell Ads for Black Tacos.

Anyone ever have one? What is in it?

    It's a taco. It's black.

I'd like to sit in on a Taco Bell meeting.

"OK, we've made every possible combination of tortillas, meat and cheese. What now?"

"What if we made the shells different colors?"

    "Brilliant!"

Unintended hilarity comes out of many business meetings. I bet the head taco came up with this one and everyone was afraid to challenge him .

Great idea boss - black taco - brilliant.

    It's an abomination.
As I've discussed here on several occassions, I spend a lot of time eating at taco trucks and taquerias. That's about 98 percent of my diet. I have never seen a black taco.

Just leave one of those truck tacos out in the sun for 10 minutes and there you go.

if they were smart, they'd make a taco shell red on one side and green on the other, and each side has varying spice relevent to red and green chiles.

I've seen blue tortilla chips, probably the same concept, maybe slightly darker colored

Maybe they have octopus ink like they use to create black linguine

It's got pepperjack sauce. Besides the black taco shell, that's the only difference over a regular taco. Too bad black doesn't have a taste.
