What Happened to Jessica Simpson?

You may be familiar with Alan Jackson's take on the concept:

If you saw even a commercial for the movie, you'd know that wasn't doctored. Damn she looked good in that.

I'd really question whether the top pic is even her for no other reason than those jeans.


EDIT: OK, 2much's post convinced me. But damn, those are some ugly fucking jeans.

 

A. She's gained some weight. So what? People gain weight. People lose weight. I assume all the critics fall within a healthy body-fat percentage?

B. High-waist jeans and trousers are back in style. Pay attention, please.

That was sort-of my reaction. Well, minus the fashion update. She's not a high-school cheerleader anymore. I call those "girls." She's a woman. And women, in my opinion, get a little more slack.

 

I won't wear them. I'll settle for somewhere in between the two extremes. I just hope it means no more midriff bearing and visible tramp stamps.

 

She's not known for having the best style. When she looks good, she looks amazing, but she also has quite a few of those "WTF was she thinking?" moments that you see in EW or US Weekly.
