What great lacrosse ...

Not a factor, as I can see ... football in the fall, lacrosse in the spring. There's some overlap of athletes.

That said, I don't think there's a proliferation of lacrosse teams at Class A schools -- yet.

 

There has been talk about cutting sports around here, but I think there would be a riot if Football, basketball, baseball or lacrosse were axed. Cutting middle school sports would make some sense. I would throw a party if they cut winter track, tennis and soccer.

Wouldn't say it's booming in Louisville, but there are several high schools here with teams.

 

I love lacrosse. If I have kids, I'm glad that we're in a school district that has it. That's where the scholarships are right now.

 

Yeah, until some asshole sports writer doesn't mention your kid's two assists in his game story.
