    I read somewhere, probably EW or US Weekly, that Hicks was a prima donna who didn't want to do anything similar to what won him AI.

    My wife bought McPhee's CD and it's not half bad. It's not my style of music, but it compares favorably with a lot of similar top 40 music on the radio...

    Of course, some win Grammys (Clarkson, Underwood), some win Oscars (Hudson) and some have one of the best-selling albums of last year (Daughtry).

    I think Daughtry sold five million copies of his first album, which is impressive in this era of illegally downloading...
