I'm a little late with this, but the Neimans xmas catalog came out this week.

I know the million dollar watches are a hot item: [IMG]

....and I am loving the jetpack: [IMG] http://www.neimanmarcus.com/christmasbook/fantasy.jsp?cid=CBF12_O5412&r=cat24050744&rdesc=The%20Christmas%20Book&rparams=xpage%3D69&icid=O5412

..but I want to meet the guy who buys his woman a fucking henhouse. [IMG]

You can put just about anything at Amazon on a wishlist, can't you? Does it only have to be books? Because they do have some good stuff and it would be a good place to browse for stuff you want that you didn't know you wanted.

I always give very specific ideas, because I know what I need for the kitchen or around the house, or a gift card I can use. The rest of the family just says "I dunno." Drives me crazy. I usually do OK in the gift selection, but it stresses me out. I love getting gift cards. Then I can take time to pick something I can really use.

    Sort of related story...

My inlaws side of the family always did a Christmas gift exchange withh everyone buying for everyone else. One year I suggested we draw names and submit a list everyone except my wife hated the idea.

There is usually nothing I want that I don't get for myself (plus I am hard to buy for)

I told everyone that the only thing I wanted was donations to charity in my name (Medecins San Frontiers).

After having to make a charitable donation in my name sudddenly the next year everyone was ok with drawing names.
