    Mark Morice, who saved a couple hundred people following Katrina, is being sued. Seems he took a neighbor's boat without permission to save people...

    Reminds me of the Dawson's Creek episode when Dawson took off in gruff old man Brooks' boat to rescue Jen and estranged friend Pacey during the hurricane. Ended up damaging Brooks' boat and Dawson had to repay him by doing errands around his house, leading to a friendship between the two before Brooks passed. :'(

    Ahh, I miss that show.

    nice generalization. it's despicable but why are you blaming the lawyer and not the guy who is suing?

    My guess? Because a responsible, ethical lawyer would have either talked the guy out of suing or would have distanced himself/herself from something so unbelievably frivolous.
