I don't know if this guy's serious or not, but there's some definite unintentional humor in this ... thing. Case in point: this filler ad:

Why didn't Al Gore choose this guy as his VP?

 

I'm wondering if the sorry state of newspapers is starting to tilt editorial boards to do the chambers of commerce bidding. Pretty easy to lean on the ad department and say, you know times are tight, if this tax measure passes the first thing we're going to cut is our ad budget.

 

I think it's been happening at many small papers already.

If he can't even talk anyone into helping his campaign, why should you vote for him?

 

it's not unusual at all for a candidate to be listed as their own campaign treasurer on a lower-level election like this.
