    If the editorial, which certainly could have been written more clearly, is correct that the paper is operating in the red, then the students are probably right to ask for a change in management. Certainly could've done it more tactfully.

    They should learn to deal with a shrinking news hole, but there is little reason for a student newspaper not to pull in sufficient advertising revenue to cover costs. Student newspapers don't follow the exact same trends as the industry. They've got a different set of problems, but generally advertisers still see college kids and their disposable income as valuable targets.

    Show me an SEC campus that doesn't fit this description.

    Auburn doesn't corner the market on snobbery or entitlement. Alabama whips its ass on both accounts pretty handily.

    After reading that, I absolutely don't know what to say. Dirty laundry being hung out for all to see? A big no-no. No way that should have been the way to supposedly work towards solving some of their problems.
