    What, must have writing experience to get a sports writers job? Maybe a good first job for a recent grad, if you have enough internships to get the $11 bucks an hour.

    This is a small town in the middle of nowhere. Think they have two high schools. It's in the southeastern part of the state, very dry. It is quite close to the Nevada desert and has a geyser.

    The last time I made $8 an hour, I was working in the stockroom at a kids' furniture store, along with a gay guy and two Samoans. Interesting job, that.

    No wait, I was actually making $10.25 then. Sorry, my mistake. Carry on ...
