Did you know Jerome Bettis is from Detroit?

Sportschick will not be watching any NFL shows for the next week for the first time in her life. She hates the Favre.

I think this thread is about to retire...or unretire.
Or maybe retire. Or maybe find some dumbass team that wants to pay $12 million.

Nah, that's it. This thread is definitely retired.

Just let him walk away upright. I want the Bears to have the privilege of finally
taking care of him -- just as they did with Namath.

If there were a one-game baseball playoff game on Monday, I'd watch that over three hours of a Favre lovefest. And I haven't watched an entire baseball game in a year.

At least 6 hours of ESPN programming yesterday talked about Favre's inconsequential block and his 32-yard heave, hail mary, frozen rope or whatever those asshats were calling it, acting like it had never happened before. Tim Couch had two plays that were actually better than that in his career. So suck it Favre.

    At first glance, I like....

Cincy laying 5 and a hook at Cleveland
    Giants laying 9 at KC
SF laying 10 at home vs. STL

    I'm torn on....
Detroit catching 10 and a hook in Chicago
Skins laying 7 at home vs. TB
Baltimore catching 2 in New England
Jets catching 6 and a hook in NOLA

I saw these shirts being sold this weekend in Madison. There were a couple others as well. Hopefully Appgrad doesn't call me a woman again for owning a camera.
