Sunday is the 45th anniversary of Namath throwing for 496 yards in a 44-34 Jets win over the Colts. Unitas threw for 396.

As for this week, I'll be counting Mike Glennon's turnovers against the Steelers. Congrats in advance, oop and the rest of you Yinzer rubes. :)

  2. If Glennon has any kind of a O-Line and get more than 3 seconds to throw, he'll find some open receivers.
Steelers have a good-to-great D-Line. Secondary is a dumpster fire.

Glad, its's the Bears this week. Any chance Trubisky plays?

Continuing to shit on our allies, the slate begins with Ravens-Jaguars on Sunday morning in London.

    Other games of note:
    Falcons-Lions
    Seahawks-Titans
    Chiefs-Chargers
    Raiders-Redskins (Sunday night)

Go Chiefs! And, to help, Washington.

I think they will hold him out while they try to shore up OL and WR corps.

I'd be mad enough to throw somebody out of a window if I had to watch Ravens-Jaguars in London.

Should have sent them the Rams-49ers. That would have showed the Brits what they can do with taxation without representation!

I remember not the game itself, but the half hour NFL Films Game of the Week on it. A beautiful early fall day in Ballmer.

Edit - found it on youtube

  12. Watching Unitas drop back to pass (hunched over with those skinny legs) reminds me of Monty Burns. Great arm though! Great TD pass on the flea flicker.

    Loved watching that!
