As opposed to Week 2 when Oregon State got trucked by Cincinnati?

I don't think anyone will confuse the Beavers for USC, UCLA, Cal, Washington, Oregon or even Arizona State.

Thank you for the ASU mention. It is appreciated before the inevitable late season fold.

Hey, Duke's a tough place to play. It's hard to get into the game when there's nobody there and there's no atmosphere.

But Boise State beating them last year supposedly gave them credibility heading into the bowls. At least that was the sentiment 'round here.

OSU had a nice run with Chad and Jackson, but that coach has long left them for a greener, dryer pasture.

Beavers were a better team a year ago, when they went 10-4 and beat both Hawaii and USC. Now by the end of the season I could be wrong on that, but at the moment it seems like these Beavers aren't near as good as last year's.

I lost respect for Tommy Bowden's coaching abilities that day.

UK was the 118th rated rush defense in the country. Clemson was the top rushing offense in the ACC (IIRC). So the logical game plan, at least in Bowden's eyes, was to throw the hell out of the football.

    Great choice, Terry. Great choice.

When did black become Maryland's primary color?

Last time I saw Maryland play it was, and that's been a couple of years. Not sure how long before that.
