Martavis Bryant makes an amazing play and a ridiculous one on the same catch. Fantastic fingertip grab on a deep ball from Roethlisberger, then fumbles inside the Browns' 20. Made a nice move on a defender, but failed to protect the ball.

On a closer look, Bryant actually shifted the ball from his right (protected) hand to his left, allowing the defender to grab it.

Steelers truly finding every way possible to keep the Browns close. I've been saying it for a while. At some point, Tomlin has to be held responsible for his team's dogshit performances against weak opposition. People keep looking at the injuries as excuses, but this is pretty much the team he's going to have the rest of the way now that Roethlisberger is in the game.

Maybe Tomlin shouldn't have set a shitty tone by not starting his star quarterback even though he was healthy enough to play.

By the way, the Steelers are getting no pass rush against an opponent that is second-worst in the league in sacks allowed and Manziel is 11 of 14 passing so far.

  2. Passs defens doesn't look too hot either. Can't get off the field on third downs. Sloppy and giving up at least three third and long conversions.

True, but secondary always sucks and many of the third-down conversions are coming on plays with Manziel getting far too much time. Just a terrible, sloppy effort so far.

One amendment. Timmons is playing great, including the big third-down sack just now.

  4. Roethlisberger is playing great. Jesus.

And Brown is picking up where he left off last week.

And the Browns are so awful. Steelers score and push the lead to 14-3 and the Browns respond by fumbling after a nice gain on first down.

The odd part is Manziel has made some plays and the Steelers haven't run worth a damn against the league's worst run defense, but Cleveland keeps giving Pittsburgh breaks.

The personal foul for trying to go over the pile on the field goal was particularly stupid. Turned a stop holding Pittsburgh to a field goal into a touchdown and two-point conversion.

  6. Not a fan of going for it. TAke the points and the chip shot!

Tomblin is getting too bold. 3 points is insurance on the two score lead. Shit.

And then they run a fade? Seriously?

Inexcusable decision by Tomlin. He just gave away three points for no good reason. Again, the kind of stupid crap the Steelers do far too often against bad teams.

Edit: Lucky for Tomlin, the Browns are determined in their sucking. Pittsburgh gets the ball back and Roethlisberger hits his second touchdown pass of the game, a 32-yarder to Bryant. Roethlisberger comes off the bench to throw for 286 yards by halftime.

Green Bay offense stunning in how out-of-sync it is. Down 9-3 to Honolulu Blue.

Don't look now, but the Lions are up on the Packers, 9-3. Abdullah with a 104-yard kickoff return to the 1/2-yard line. Two bad running plays back them up to the 3 before Stafford throws to Petigrew for the TD. Then the kicker misses the PAT left.

Browns o-line has been awful today. Turns out, when you draft a C who was moved to C at FSU because he was terrible elsewhere on the line, maybe you should only play him at C. .... ugg.

The Browns have been awful in every area. So have the officials. How the hell was that last play pass interference on the Browns? Both players were pushing one another and Antonio Brown had no shot at catching that ball.

The one thing the Browns are doing is stopping the run. I wonder if part of that is Williams playing hurt for Pittsburgh.

Correction. They are also throwing the ball well. The Browns finally gave up on the run and Manziel is picking the Steelers apart. He also just made a ridiculous play to scramble to the one on what should have been a sack.

Think he's down just short of a TD. But that was a fun Johnny Football play there.
