Good point. He cares about a lot of stuff that doesn't mean a damn thing as far as the character of a person.

Chris Kanyon was, as far as I know, the first pro wrestler to come out as gay during his career. Several others were known within the industry to be gay (Pat Patterson) or came out after their careers were over. Kanyon, unfortunately, also suffered from being bi-polar and committed suicide.

 

Griner's admission would be a bigger story if people actually cared about the WNBA.

 

Wasn't it established recently that pro wrestling crap doesn't pollute other threads any longer? Is the moratorium lifted?

 

Haven't read it yet, so I don't know if he addresses it, and I have no reason to question his motives, but I would think that this makes him more likely to get a job.

I wasn't aware there was a moratorium, and, like the other thread, I'm not the one who brought it up to begin with.

 

And if Sheryl Swoopes (among others) hadn't come out 10 or 12 years ago.
