   The guy who was supposed to direct Jack Bauer on the big screen says the project is dead:

   This sucks. I was always entertained by the show, except at its most ridiculous few moments (mostly Kim-related).
   
   Without a movie, it's just a big disaster to end the series the way they did. I hope one day we get a definitive ending to the whole story.
